“If a woman’s make-up is successful you don’t see it, you see the person.”

What areas of the country do you cover?
I cover all areas within a reasonable distance, usually 20 miles. This includes Warwickshire and some areas of Birmingham, parts of Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and The Black Country. Travel within this area is included in the package price. Provided the travelling time is feasible I am happy to travel further, a charge based on the mileage over 20 miles would be added to the package price.

Will you visit me at home?
My service is fully mobile. I will aim to meet you at your home for initial consultations, though where there are several members of the wedding party it may easier to meet in a central location of your choice. On the day of your wedding I will be wherever you will be leaving from, be that home or elsewhere.

Does your service provide hairstyling, manicures and pedicures?
No, my training is in makeup, not hair or nails. I may do my own but I wouldn’t recommend that I do yours! My service is exclusively for quality, professionally applied makeup, to be done after your hair is completed and before you put on your dress.

What range of cosmetics do you use?
The cosmetics I use are premium quality and come predominantly from one top global cosmetic range which is ideally suited to what I do. They are dermatologically and allergy tested and they have proven effective for use for those with sensitive skins. All items used are available to purchase at manufacturer’s RRP with a full 100% satisfaction guarantee. I strongly recommend that a bride purchases a lipstick for use on the day, even the most skilfully applied lipstick will not last a through a full wedding day!

Why would I have my wedding makeup applied professionally?
On your wedding day you want to look and feel beautiful, it’s your day and you deserve to look your best. Having your makeup applied by a professional is an enjoyable, pampering experience and ensures that it looks good and stays put all day. You are also going to be photographed and your makeup needs to be appropriate in order for you to look as good in your wedding album as you would in person.

How long should I allow for application on the Day?
You need to allow around 1 hour for full bridal makeup to be applied. Other members of the party may take between 30 and 45 minutes.

I want to do my own makeup on the Day, can you help me?
Yes. I can arrange a consultation where I cover all aspects of the look you want and I will teach you how to recreate it on the day. Fees for this service are the same as for a standard consultation.

I have bridesmaids who are too young for full makeup, could you include them?
I do not recommend applying makeup to young children, they look gorgeous anyway and have no need of my services. For bridesmaids who are approaching or are in their early teens I can provide a light application of makeup appropriate to their age and their desire to wear it. If you have a teen who spends all her spare cash on buying makeup then I would suggest treating them as an adult member of the party. This way I can give them the attention they would need for a full application.

Are you insured?
I have full professional indemnity and public liability insurance with an upper limit of £2million to conduct my work as a Makeup Artist.
